there are many research studies that have shown the positive impact of parental involvement on children's academic achievement and attitudes towards learning. A study by Henderson and Mapp (2002) reviewed over 50 years of research on parental involvement and concluded that it is one of the most important factors in a child's success in school. A report by the National Parent Teacher Association (2000) cited numerous studies that have found a positive correlation between parental involvement and academic achievement.
